Our community

The Chelmsford Community remains at the heart of our radio family. We love to support local events be it by including it on our on-air events guide (that our presenters read out), doing interviews, on site-recordings or having the team rock up with our pop-up PA (If you want to know more, just ask).

We are delighted to be a valued part of annual happenings such as the Anglia Ruskin

University Science Festival, Chelmsford City Council Skills Fest and the Chelmsford Civic Society Heritage Open Day Event in the City Centre.

Our unsigned and local music Guru Shakey frequently puts on showcases in many venues around the City as well as run the “Act for the Future” contest alongside a number of prestigious partners who partake in the judging process and offering amazing prizes for the winning acts.

And whilst that’s all going on, our diverse team of presenters offer opportunities to access our platform to many from local businesses to charities to community groups to performers.
