Maxine and the girls!

Maxine is a dedicated volunteer with the Girlguiding Organisation and brings her passion for youth voices to the airwaves through The GENE Radio Show (Genie). Once a month, she teams up with young members of her Girlguiding media team to shine a spotlight on Girlguiding events, alongside interviews with well-known politicians and celebrities.
Although she works tirelessly outside of CCR (which means we don’t get to see her around the studio too often), you might just catch her stepping in to cover for other presenters when they’re away. Whether she’s championing local events or chatting with high-profile guests, Maxine always brings energy and enthusiasm to the mic.
