Right now on Chalmsford Community Radio, we're going to talk about the cost of living crisis and how it is affecting drinking habits. Now joining me right now is Stephen McCulloch, he's the executive director of with you. With you are a drug, alcohol and mental health charity. Good evening Stephen. Hi, Nita. Thanks for having me. Thank you for being on childhood community radio. Now the research which has taken place from opinion matters shows that some people are buying more alcohol from supermarkets and buying more supermarket brands because it's cheaper than the alternatives of going out for a meal or going to the pub and this trend has been happening since the pandemic really. And is this true? Yeah that's right. So we run as you've said our cultural government health services all over country and we've seen a bit of a shift in people coming to us for support.
