Interviewed by Nita Jhummu
Richard Folkerd joins us on City Talk to share his pride in former pupil Didi Okoh, a bronze medal-winning Paralympian and Commonwealth Games discus athlete (T42/F42). As her former teacher and head of year at St John Payne School, Richard recounts Didi’s journey, her natural sporting talent and resilience after a lymphoedema diagnosis, and how she has become an inspirational role model for students and disability sport alike.
