It's volunteer festival 2019 here in Chantsod. I'm here with Les from the men's shed in Chantsod. Hi Les. Hello. And it's a very interesting charity that I didn't know about. Can you tell us about the men's shed? Chantsod, apparently the very interesting story of how it came about. Well, we have joined what is an international event with the men's sheds. They've been started in Australia with a group of guys, and it has spread across Australia, spread across New Zealand. In this area, we've got an operation out of Brookend, the old waterworks. There are places that swim on the Maldon and generally speaking it's where guys get together have a cup of tea, have a tumour and get out from underneath their wives' feet basically but we enjoy each other's company and it works very well.
