Paul Bennett, a seasoned former professional footballer, joins us on City Talk to discuss his incredible journey with the England Silver Lions Over-75s team. He shares his excitement for their upcoming match against Germany on July 30th, a special fixture commemorating the 60th anniversary of England's 1966 World Cup victory. Paul details his selection process for the team, the rigorous training involved in their eleven-a-side running football, and the inspiring documentary being made about their campaign, which has even attracted the attention of Sir Geoff Hurst and potential Netflix interest.
