Alexander Cave, coordinator of the Chelmsford Law Clinic at the Civic Centre in Duke Street, joins City Talk on 1 January 2018.
The clinic was a new six-month pilot offering free, independent and confidential legal advice. He explains that people could book a half-hour appointment with a solicitor to work out their rights and where to go next. The idea had started around July, and the clinic had begun seeing people that September. At that point he was running it himself, with the Civic Centre behind the project.
